Cajun Spice Rub Seasoning
This salt-free spicy Cajun rub is delicious on grilled shrimp! You can also use it to give your jambalaya an extra kick.
1/4 cup Spanish paprika
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper (to suit your spice preferences)
2 tablespoons dried thyme
2 tablespoons dried basil
2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons ground coriander
1/2 tsp white pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste if desired.
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
Taste and adjust the seasonings to suit your palate.
Store for up to three months.
Use one tablespoon at a time in recipes.
